Introduction

This website is maintained by the Court approved, independent Settlement Administrator, under the supervision of the Circuit Court of Miller County, State of Arkansas.

The purpose of this website is to inform you of a proposed Class Action Settlement involving Grange Mutual Casualty Company and its related property and casualty insurance companies, including Integrity Mutual (together called "Grange").

The settlement includes these Grange property and casualty insurers: Grange Indemnity Insurance Company, Grange Insurance Company of Michigan, Grange Mutual Casualty Company, Grange Property & Casualty Insurance Company, Integrity Mutual Insurance Company, and Trustgard Insurance Company.

The settlement has been reached in a lawsuit against them. The settlement provides for payments to people who submit valid claim forms, and you may be eligible. The lawsuit generally claims that many insurers underpaid people for UM/UIM bodily injury claims by using a computer program known as COLOSSUS, or the programs known as Claims Outcome Advisor (COA™) and InjuryIQ™. The lawsuit specifically claims that Grange underpaid UM/UIM bodily injury claims through the use of COLOSSUS and that Grange conspired with others to reduce the amounts paid for general damages for bodily injury claims submitted under the UM/UIM portion of auto policies. Grange denies these allegations.

The Circuit Court of Miller County, Arkansas will have a hearing to decide whether to give final approval to the settlement so that payments can be made. Those included may ask for a payment, exclude themselves from the settlement, object to it, or ask to speak at the hearing. For a detailed notice call 1-888-299-1145 or download the notice here.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The claim filing deadline of April 3, 2008 has passed.
